Child Neurology & Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Residency Match

The Child Neurology and NDD Matching Program (CNMP) was established in 2004. Its goal is to coordinate the PGY-3 appointments for Child Neurology and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (NDD) programs and relieve the pressure on applicants and program directors resulting from early appointments and uncoordinated appointment dates. The CNMP will serve to place both US Medical School Seniors and residents with advanced standing into Child Neurology and NDD programs.

For US Seniors, the CNMP will supplement the matching services of the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP) Pediatrics Match. It is timed to allow US Senior applicants to know their PGY-3 placement in Child Neurology/NDD before they submit their rank list for PGY-1 choices for prerequisite training (see discussion below).

Sponsorship

The Child Neurology Society (CNS) and the Professors of Child Neurology (PCN) are the sponsors the matching process and responsible for enforcement at applicable rules. The Matching office does not sponsor or approve any of the participating programs. The function of the Matching Program is strictly limited to processing of the match. Listing or not listing of any program in the directory does not imply any form of approval, disapproval or endorsement. The decision to be listed or not rests solely with each individual Program Director.

Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Residency Programs (NDD)

Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Residency Programs (NDD) are also part of the Child Neurology Match. Once registered, you will obtain login information to view our online directory of available training programs.
